Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Aegis Software Baseline Analyst to join our team! In this role you will be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Monitor Aegis BMD and Combat Systems integration technical issues in the Fleet and shore sites including software, system upgrades and testing

  • Lead teams in the evaluation of program successes and deficiencies, and implement appropriate recommendations

  • Responsible for assessing the degree to which the identified systems operations and technical requirements are being met and where improvements for modernization may be applied for the next generation of missile defense systems

  • Provide technical coordination for alignment between the Navy, MDA and other government agencies regarding integration of BMD and Combat System upgrades to ensure all remain informed of any new decisions that affect scope and schedule

  • Support Warfighter coordination and integration and provide detailed technical and programmatic responses to MDA Executive Taskers, Congressional Requests for Information (RFI), and Navy Correspondence

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance

  • Master's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of relevant experience

  • 12+ years of related experience working on DOD or missile defense programs

  • Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks

  • Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems

  • Ability to provide program oversite and recommendations for resolution of complex technical issues to Senior Leadership within the Program office and MDA Leadership


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems

  • Experience with Weapon System Development

  • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.

Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

Secret

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
